International Orders: Will I be charged duties or taxes?Updated a year ago
We are thrilled to share that as of Friday the 8th of March 2024 we have upgraded our international shipping process to offer Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) to our valued customers. This enhancement is aimed at providing a smoother and more convenient shopping experience for our valued international clientele (yay!).
What does this mean for you?
With DDP, all applicable duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are now included in the final purchase price at checkout. This means no more surprises or unexpected charges upon delivery. You can shop with confidence, knowing exactly what you'll pay upfront, without any additional fees or delays* (winning!).
*Please note: New Zealand orders over $1000NZD will require an importer code to be provided by the recipient to the carrier.
Key Benefits of DDP:
- Transparent Pricing: The price you see at checkout is the final price you'll pay – no hidden fees or extra charges upon delivery.
- Faster Customs Clearance: DDP ensures smoother customs clearance processes, reducing the risk of delays in receiving your order.
- Convenience: Enjoy a hassle-free shopping experience with seamless international shipping.
What about prior to this change?:
Prior to the 8th of March 2024, international parcels will have been shipped via Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), meaning that customers will have been responsible for any import duties that may have been charged by the local customs office.
